El objetivo es investigar las Tecnologías de la Información asentadas y sobre todo emergentes y su aplicabilidad al desempeño de funciones o la realización de tareas tradicionales, renovadas o innovadoras que pueden caer bajo la responsabilidad de los profesionales de la información adscritos a una biblioteca, un archivo o un centro o servicio de información o documentación, en el ámbito público o privado. Desarrollar prototipos que demuestren tal aplicabilidad. Desarrollar proyectos, en colaboración con administraciones, organizaciones o empresas, de aplicación de esas Tecnologías de la Información.

Status and prospects of development of Open Access in Argentina
An overview of the status and prospects of the Open Access movement in Argentina, placing it in the global international context and Latin America is presented. The state and evolution of the two main routes of OA (gold and green) from the analysis of journals and repositories as main channels of publication and dissemination of scientific literature in open access is described. The main measures and support policies are mentioned and momentum to the movement from the government level in Latin America, and Argentina in particular.
